Oxon Church Prayer Chain

Each week Oxon Church receives prayer requests from church members and others.

The Oxon Church Prayer Chain consists of many church members who have kindly agreed to receive prayer requests and intercede for those needs confidentially from the comfort of their own home and in their own time.

Stanton D’Arcy, the church Prayer Chain Co-ordinator, receives prayer requests by email, phone or in person and then distributes them to the Prayer Chain members.

The Prayer Chain has provided comfort, support and healing to many of our church members, their families and friends down through the years.

Should you wish to use this service you can request prayers for whatever you may need.

For example:

  • The death of someone close and dear to you.
  • An illness.
  • Employment concerns.
  • Accidents.
  • Marriage / Divorce.
  • Family / Husband / Parent / Wife / Children / Father / Mother.
  • Financial Worries.
  • Faith Support.
  • Giving thanks for a successful event.
  • Any concern you have on your heart currently.

Bible Passage:

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 New International Version – UK)
